About 100 kilometres from Barcelona, Rupit i Pruit emerges among mountains, forests and cliffs as one of those villages that seem to belong to another era.
The journey from Barcelona by car takes approximately 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, depending on the starting point and traffic. The road distance is around 100 kilometres.
And although it is not far from Barcelona, the feeling upon arrival is completely different.
This is where Collsacabra begins.

At the heart of this landscape lies Rupit, a small stone village whose historic centre preserves the character of an old medieval settlement.

Rupit i Pruit is located in the Osona region, in the Collsacabra area, between the provinces of Barcelona and Girona.
The municipality consists of the villages of Rupit and Pruit, two small settlements that today form a single municipality.

The route to the waterfall offers a landscape completely different from the historic centre.
